Star Wars. Taco Trucks. Chocolate & Peanut Butter. Lobster Roll. These are a few of my favorite things.
<insert story about how I knew I wanted to be a photographer the first time I saw an old Hasselbald in a store window, yadda yadda. . . >
Kidding aside, I fell into this, like other careers I've had in my life. I joined the police force because I was bored at the White House. I went to the White House because I was tired of graduate school. I went to graduate school because I didn't know what to do with my life. I was always playing with dad's cameras when I was younger and he first taught me about f-stops and shutter speeds. I retained almost none of it . . . Grandpa was the photographer in the family when dad wasn't, every birthday party, every Christmas, there he was with a camera.
I bought my first digital SLR when I was in my mid-20's and had too much cash burning a hole in my wallet one day. I took it all over the country on vacations shooting wildflowers and waterfalls and mountains- making postcards as my friends would joke. A took a photo of a friend at Great Falls one day and that was that. And here I am today.
Im interested in working with publications and advertising agencies in the Denver and mountain west region. Contact me today to discuss your next project!
